Club Penguin Archives was created in December 2010 after the demise of the swf.cpcheats.info mirror. This site is a reflection on Club Penguin's history. From our homepage:

Club Penguin Archives is a site dedicated to preserving Club Penguin's history by archiving the files that made up the game prior to its closing.

This is our goal.

History

Swf.cpcheats.info mirror was a great place to get SWFs, until it was demolished in December 2010. So, all of the SWFs from there were transported, and Archives was officially created on December 12th, 2010; and was declared part of the newly official "Club Penguin Wiki Network".

ClubPenguinMaster was the only administrator and main editor for years, until mid-2012, when a few new users from the network started to edit. Cp kid, Nando144 and Mario Rk became administrators in 2012, and began to boost the usercount and SWF count in the wiki. After the "departments" idea came alive on the Club Penguin Wiki, Cp kid was announced as head of the "Archives Department", due to ClubPenguinMaster's lack of activity on Archives at the time. In December 2012, Archives got a new logo because of their second anniversary; It was designed by Cp kid and Wboys14.

Also in 2012, Cp kid started the "foreign language project". After that, hundreds of foreign room, catalog, and other SWFs were being uploaded to Archives and situated into their separate sections in re-designed pages.
