Can people try the new SWF renderer on the server? It essentially automates what the guide does, but some people have rendering problems (it seems to vary by server)

Someday, I'll do a MW extension, but this will require regex voodoo --refractor 01:11, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

It works perfectly with items, but catalogs are not rendered. --Juca (discussão/talk) File:Chapeudehelice.png 13:34, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Do catalogs display anything normally in browser/post-rendering manually? --refractor 23:49, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
The display for certain items, especially unlockable (such as The Firey Flare or The Tree Topper) isn't very good, it kinda reminds me some problems when converting certain swf files using Swiffy, but beside that it's really amazing :) I've found a way that can properly convert the SWF file if you have SWiX and Kurst SWF Renderer (v1.0), if you dump the XML into this input textarea, copy the output, save back in SWiX and then export a PNG version, if anyone may find it useful for these problematic cases.
P.S. why converting SVG to PNG? when it's uploaded in the wiki, SVG files are given a PNG thumb anyway.

I'm using swftools to scale, fix, and render - afaik it doesn't do SWF output - I'll see about that --refractor 15:19, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
Updated with SVG support --refractor 23:45, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

Is it broken? Not working anymore, now the icon shows on the top right corner of the screen. --Juca (discussão/talk) 00:50, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

A quick test makes everything seem fine. Can you show what file causes problems, and what browser you use? --refractor 23:43, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
It happens with all item's SWF files in all browsers, using Mac OS X. --Juca (discussão/talk) 16:23, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
It works for me on Firefox. Make sure you have the bounding box repair checked. --refractor 12:12, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
